lestat Posted October 8, 2011 Report Posted October 8, 2011 Hi guys, Ive a 2005 1.9tdi Galaxy and the last few weeks it has started stuttering (like dirty diesel).Once you get into high revs (above 2000 revs) its ok but once the revs go down it shutters again. The only way to stop this is to turn of the engine and restart (this could take 5 or 6 times) You can also turn off the engine as driving and let it jump start as this will work also. this happens from cold every time but once engine is warm it rarely happens. Any advice would be fantastic Thanks Mark Quote
seatkid Posted October 8, 2011 Report Posted October 8, 2011 I think its likely to be a faulty injector wiring loom and/or connectors. Do a search on wiring loom for lots more info. Initial advice would be to clean the injector connectors. A new wiring loom cost around Quote

chrispb123456 Posted October 8, 2011 Report Posted October 8, 2011 The injector wiring and/or faulty injector will leave a fault code, you need to scan your car with Vagcom you can do this yourself by getting a lead off ebay and by using a laptop scan your engine modulehttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VAG-USB-DIAGNOSTIC-CABLE-409-1-OBD2-II-LEAD-VAG-COM-/330399696070?pt=UK_Diagnostic_Tools_Equipment&hash=item4ced5b44c6 Quote
