toby1966 Posted September 16, 2011 Report Posted September 16, 2011 MY ENGINE IS STILL OVEREVVING HERES THE THING.WHEN I TRY TO ACCELERATE THE R.P.M. AND THE SPEED DO NOT MATCH UNTIL I REALLY OVERDO IT AND THEN WE GET GOING.ALSO WHEN I STOP AT A JUNCTION THE CAR WILL REV UP AND THEN SETTLE DOWNI HAVE TAKEN OFF THE AIR FILTER THE PCV VALVE CLEANED THE THROTTLE BODY INTAKE AND CLEANED EVERYTHING CHECKED ALL HOSES AROUND THIS AND NOTHING.I DO HAVE AN ABS LIGHT ON ON THE DASH AND I HEARD THIS MAY BE THE CAUSE???? SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE VACUUM!??i HAVE SEEN ENGINE CLEANER THAT WILL CLEAN ALL THE INJECTORS AND REMOVE ANY CARBON DEPOSITS IS THIS WORTH A SHOT.I AM JUST ABOUT AT THE END AND ANY HELP OR ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.MANY THANKS. :( Quote
