WHEN I TRY TO ACCELERATE THE R.P.M. AND THE SPEED DO NOT MATCH UNTIL I REALLY OVERDO IT AND THEN WE GET GOING.ALSO WHEN I STOP AT A JUNCTION THE CAR WILL REV UP AND THEN SETTLE DOWN

I HAVE TAKEN OFF THE AIR FILTER THE PCV VALVE CLEANED THE THROTTLE BODY INTAKE AND CLEANED EVERYTHING CHECKED ALL HOSES AROUND THIS AND NOTHING.

I DO HAVE AN ABS LIGHT ON ON THE DASH AND I HEARD THIS MAY BE THE CAUSE???? SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE VACUUM!??

i HAVE SEEN ENGINE CLEANER THAT WILL CLEAN ALL THE INJECTORS AND REMOVE ANY CARBON DEPOSITS IS THIS WORTH A SHOT.

I AM JUST ABOUT AT THE END AND ANY HELP OR ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Please avoid starting a new post on the same problem

Can you confirm what transmission you have as this is begining to sound like a clutch slip problem

it is a ford galaxy 1999 2.3 manual.

As Chris said that sounds like classic clutch slip which can only really be caused by a worn clutch or weak tension plate - either way its new clutch time.
