Mk11 Sidelights Very Dim

Hello all,

I have a 2000 X reg MK11 Galaxy 1.9 TDI and the side lights appear to be very dim. Below are some photos, I took these while the engine was running and they don't seem to get any brighter when the revs are increased.

 

Does anyone know whats causing this and how to rectifiy the problem or is this normal.

If all the other lights are normal try new bulbs.

All the others seem ok so I'll replace them and see what happens, are the LED replacments any good or should I just swap like for like, thanks again
