shalhambraxy94 Posted June 26, 2011 Report Posted June 26, 2011 Hi all,I have just removed the N/S CV joint to replace the boot on my 52 Reg 1.9 tdi Alhambra. I followed the advice and instructions given in the FAQs section - thanks guys it has made the job realy easy. However when I came to reassemble I noticed that the circlip on the end of the driveshaft has broken and the boot kit from eurocarparts whilst having grease and boot retaining bands included did not have a replacement circlip. Does anyone have any advice on where I can get a new circlip?, or should I seek a better boot kit that has all the bits necessary? Thanks all Quote

cyborg Posted June 27, 2011 Report Posted June 27, 2011 Thats right clip is part of shaft . Funny enough I changed a boot also today used one of those new fangled stretch boots.... Did my conan the barbarian bit to slide over bearing hub the wrong way round lol .. Quote
