Leak

hello

 

i have a leak from the lock/mirror in the head linning, can you help me fix this, think it might be drains in the sunroof, but dont know where or how?

If you open the sunroof you will see 2 drain holes in the gully at the front corners, a wipe with a cloth should clear them (usually a leaf has blocked the hole) when you pour water down the hole it should exit at the back of the front wheel arch, again that can block at that end and the pipe over time fills up. a trip to the air line and a quick blast should shift it

Would be a bit wary using an airline here, you may displace the pipe from the drain tube.

Also a good idea to remove screws from lower edge of wheel arch liner, this is where the drain tube exits and as said can block up causing the cavity to fill up, this can also lead to rotting of the wheel arch/sill area

Hi

 

I have just cleaned drain holes in the sunroof poured water down and it came out near both front wheels, but it also ran down the inside of the windscreen!, any ideas.

Sounds like pipe is already disconnected or split where it's attached to drain tube, you will need to lower enough roof lining to check pipework.
