chrispb123456 Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 Most likely turbo vanes sticking or faulty (N75)control valve, from under the car can you move the turbo actuator rod its full extent? Also remove the air charge pipe from the EGR valve see how badly clogged up as this wont help either You need to give it a good thrashing every now and then, this is known as the Italian tune up. Get some weight in the car and with engine up to normal operating temperature drive car at 4000 rpm in third gear (uphill preferably) and hold it at that as long as possible, repeating it a few times. chrispb123456 Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 Apologies Kertrats24 you dont have a VNT turbo so your problem is not sticky vanes, you still have an N75 valve controlling wastegate this is located on bulkhead behind a heat sheild to the rear of EGR valve. Have another close look at the vacuum hoses especially the two on the turbo, have sent a pic of the pipe layout to help. Also pull the large pipe off the EGR valve and look into the valve it could also be clogged. As you dont have any codes for N75 Quote

chrispb123456 Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 Depends how bad it is, it usually gets clooged up with oily soot which you have to dig/scrape out, best done by removing valve as you dont want all that muck falling down into manifold. Quote

AFAIK all PD engines (post 2000) including the 90bhp model have VNT turbos. Quote
