Clutch Snatch - P Reg 2.3 Galaxy Manual Petrol

and another thing...

 

P reg 2.3 Galaxy manual petrol has now developed a sort of 'snatching' of the clutch - it 'clunks' as it takes up drive in reverse (most prominant) but also a bit in first too.

If I coax and am verrrry gentle I can get away with it not happening.

All other gears seem okay - am I couting a new disaster about to happen?

'Paamy' has done over 200,000 miles and has been regularly serviced - she sometimes pulls a trailer which can be quite heavy.

 

I have not had any judder, slipping or horrible clutch smells btw - cannot detect any gearbox area leak either

Check out engine mountings and stabiliser and while underneath have a look at driveshafts and joints.
