lynchman Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 First bit of hot weather and my air conditioning is not up to much, its much colder just leaving the window open! Does anybody know where the valve is on a 2.0 TDCI GHIA as I still have a can of topup in the garage and was considering giving it a go ? Or any advice on Aircon with Climate control is appreciated so I get some cold air before the real summer kicks in. Thanks Quote
chrispb123456 Posted April 10, 2011 Report Posted April 10, 2011 I would advise you let a specialist check it over for you, you have no idea how much gas is present in your system, overfilling can cause damage more to the system than not having enough. Quote
Buncers Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 How old is your car? I've had the same problem with mine - see my post today Quote
pdaly Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 I've got the same problem. Not the most effective air con & heater. I put it down to the size of the cabin. Quote

seatkid Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 It could be just down to low gas. Kwikfit, charlie browns etc do a re-gas for Quote
swagger Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 take it to a garage and get it fixed, its so obvious Quote
Harbuckle Posted May 28, 2011 Report Posted May 28, 2011 take it to a garage and get it fixed, its so obvious An answer to solve any problem! On the 08 owards a common failure seems to be the aircon pipe going into the rear compartment evaporator. Quote
