I have just read a post about someone's boot won't open and the fault is the wiring in the wee rubber boot. Would this be the same remedy for my prob? At the same time my parking sensors have been playing up I'm wondering is it a coincidence or are they related? I know about the hose going to rear wash coming apart and getting into the controls for the sensors ( which I'm going to.sort at the weekend). Hope someone can shed some light on this before I start ripping things apart. Cheers Scott. Quote
chrispb123456 Posted March 16, 2011 Report Posted March 16, 2011 Hi Scott and welcome to the forumFirst place to look is the wiring in the tail gate as this can cause all sorts of problems you may need to check for blown fuses also.Are the parking sensors doing anything at all? the flooded footwell problem can knacker the control unit or may be one or several of the sensors U/S ps I see from your other post you have an 03 TDI, if you go to your profile signature you can put those details in plus the engine code eg, AUY,ASD,or ARL and manual or automatic.Saves you remembering every time you post. :lol: Quote
