BrummyGit Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 My car is just back from the garage after having the alternator changed. I opened the bonnet to admire the new one and a sticker was peeling with the part number on it. For the sheer hell I did a google and it came back as a 90amp model when I was expecting it would be higher. Can anyone tell me (or tell me where I can get a definitive answer) what alternator I should have on my late 2005 Galaxy TDi 150 Ghia with heated seats, ESP, xenons (I think it was called the technology pack)? dave21 Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 whilst my car is earlier 2003 ghia 1.9tdi i was always told on the ghia models with the extras you neend a 120 amp model and not the 90amp one cheers dave Quote
zorgman Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 yup 120amp with heated seats etc Quote
mikej Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 120 amp on my 2.3 petrol ghia so would have thought if not the same maybe higher on the diesel model  Quote
sotal Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 I've got a ghia diesel, but haven't got heated seats and mine is 120amp. There was quite a few variations so you could do with getting the old one back to match the part number up Quote
