My Mk1 Galaxy front fog lights are not working and have only 10.74v feed. I have used the battery as an earth so am happy that the earth is not weak. Bulbs work fine if connected to the battery. The battery is fully charged. I guess I am getting a large voltage drop to the fog light terminals.

Has anyone any idea where I should start to get the voltage back up again. Incidently the side lights are only at 11v.

Thanks

Fuse might be wrong amp for lights check Fuse31 is 15A or wires broke in tail gate rubber shorting fogs or rear blown bulbs.. .

The fuse is fine and I have changed it for good measure. The rear lights are good, but still no light. i now have the o/s front fog light working so I prabably have enough voltage for this side. does anyone know where the feed to the front n/s fog light comes from.

no relays are used so its out of switch down to front and rear fogs, check at switch see whats going on tho if one fog light is ok then its a high resistance joint so run a new feed from one to other to replicate original wiring and bypass the fault.

comes off fuse 1 to switch then one wire out down to front fogs same on rear, if that helps. also check with engine running and make sure your using a good earth

Sorry Mate, having the wrong fuse will not cause a volts drop, plus the fact the OP is talking about the Front lamps not the rear.
