SouthMark35 Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 Hi All New to this forum, I have recently bought an N Reg Ford Galaxy and I have an issue with the central locking. You can only open the car and shut the car from the boot both Drivers door and Passenger door will not open the car (need to replace the door locks) the electric window on the drivers door was not working so refitted a new motor and all is now working with the electric window however when I unlock the doors now with the central locking from the boot all the doors open except the drivers door and I cannot open the drivers door at all the central locking sound like it is permananently trying to lock/unlock the doors. the only way to stop this is to disconnect and reconnect the battery. Any ideas on how to solve this issue or even get to a point where I can open the drivers side door? problem is I need to use this car Thursday and time is running out to get this sorted so this is my last hope!! Thanks for any advise help in advance Cheers Mark Quote

chrispb123456 Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 You will need to get the door open to access, you will probably have to get the door card off to access the lock, have heard you can do this but would think quite fiddly. Quote
