paulh Posted November 20, 2010 Report Posted November 20, 2010 Have noticed my 1.9 tdi acting a bit strange the last few weeks. She starts from cold with no problems, however after a couple of minutes running she loses power and dies, although if I keep the revs up it will keep running roughly. Then its a real pig to restart, cranking for ages. Finally she goes and were off again, and then as it warms up a bit the it suddenly clears and runs as sweet as a nut. Its like something is switching on or off, thats how sudden the change is. Anyone got any ideas what it could be? Cheers Quote

sotal Posted November 20, 2010 Report Posted November 20, 2010 could even just be the fuel filter, the cold weather cold be freezing any sludge in there or making it thciker - any record when it was last changed? Quote
