skintblokedog Posted November 10, 2010 Author Report Posted November 10, 2010 I spoke to someone who works at a ford garage today and he said theyve had the same problem once it turned out to be a valve spring. So i guess its cam covers of time to have a look hohum what joys its a head of time. Quote

Valve spring sounds like a red herring have you done compression test ?As chris suggested.Also check your wires for arching..And split in wires going to coil. Try disconnecting your battery for 5 mins and let engine relearn the best setup. Is your oil old tired and wrong type causing Sticky Valve now weather is changing Should be 5w-30 . Quote
