chrispb123456 Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 Hi you may find this usefull. Is this the original alternator or one that came with engine? Quote
richiezx9 Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 (edited) Hey john, no matter what the state of the battery is it sjould not affect the light, the light indicates charging (hence why it always comes on when you turn the ignition on without the engine running) make sure you have the belt fitted correctly once you are confident of that if it is still not charging use a multimeter on the back of the alternator to see if it is working and trace back from there. Hope this helps Richard Edited October 31, 2010 by richiezx9 Quote
