About 1 month ago my rear wiper would work intermittently, for example it worked sometimes when you pushed the stalk forward and sometimes it didn't work for 20 min or so. I did'nt investigate this problem at the time.

Yesterday my front wipers stopped working and my rear one stayed on continuosly, after hours of reading previous threads on here, i diagnosed the problem as a blown fuse, it was 2nd from the right on the horizontal fuses.

Happy that everything was now working, but i was also curious to why the fuse had blown in the first place.

This morning as i started the car my front wipers would work continuosly and would not turn of by moving the stalk, but they would speed up if i put the stalk to the highest position? in conjunction to this my dash lights have started flashing on and off?

I do not know much about cars but i think that water leaking in somewhere is the problem.

Has anybody else had this problem? please could you advise on where to start looking.
