Wiper And Aircon

Hi every one, ive just joined the galaxy club and hope some of you cleaver guys out there can help me with a problem on my galaxy 1.9tdi ghia mk2, The problem is that when im braking the aircon comes on and starts flashing, abs and hand brake light start flashing and beeping, indicators only work with your foot on the brake pedal and the front and back wipers come on? Sounds like a bad earth connection but first check fuses 30 to 34 ;)

COuld also be a dodgy brake light switch or bulb.

check the fuses for what? that they have blown? or are just there? the main link to all these faults is the operation of the brakes! so first off, yes check the fuses to see if they have blown? and if they have find out why? my guess is the wiring to the rear hatch, it links the operation of the brakes to the wipers and the indicators by possibly back feeding or allowing for an earth on these circuits, as for the ac? again possible back feed via the rear heated screen?
