chrispb123456 Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 Hi thereFirstly why so many posts of the same topic? the solenoid valves are you meaning the ones in an auto gearbox? as it sounds like you have a fuel/air charge problem. Also can you put your vehicle details into your signiture that will save you typing them in everytime you post.I'm sure one of the moderators will remove the duplicate posts for you. :) Quote

Jayton Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 Sounds like the classic sticky vanes problem, as you say switching off then on again 'fixes' it. There are plenty topics on the sticky vanes problem, your turbo probably just needs a clean which can be done for about Quote
gregers Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 other posts removed and merged where there was posts. Quote

Willie Krashitt Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 ANU (90PS) aren't fitted with a VNT turbo - it is (well, should have) the older FGT with wastegate type so there are no vanes to stick. Sounds as if you have either a pressure/vacuum leak with one of the pipes in the boost control circuit or an electrical fault with the wiring to the boost control solenoid.George. Quote
