lobbslobb Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 Anyone have any idea why this tube would be blowing off, high pressure air coming out?? Quote
chrispb123456 Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 Hi therecant think of any hoses that would be pressure hoses that just push together, they are usually vacuum, you spoke in a previous post about the MAF sensor this is in the large pipe from the air filter housing to the intake manifold it doesn't have any small pipes attached to it.You need to find where both ends of this pipe go to as I cant tell from photo where its going. The stalling/rough idle may be due to dirty/sticking idle control valve. mk2vr6 Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 Yes they are pressure hoses! they are the EGR systems pressure tranducer sensor hoses, your (the op's) and others talk about Turbo's doesnt help the diagnoses of your problem! <_< my guess is you have a 2lt dohc petrol engine with a blocked ERG valve/system Quote

I'll report back It was the cat, broke down and caused a blockage, hence pressure build up and pipe blowing off. Quote
