Tdi Relay 30

can anyone tell me does a 99 reg tdi have this so called relay 30 ? . taken mine to bits as described in the forum but no 30 or 167 , there r 2 100s and a 185 . help please would really love to get the old girl running again . thank you

just an extra note there is another relay 109 and this one is clicking . help please its doing my head in now , why wont this car start

Hi there

Is the engine turning over but not firing, if so check stop solenoid on pump it should click when turning on ignition.

hello engine wont turn over from key . turns over if i put a wire from battery to the starter ?

Reading your first post where you have changed over the engine. The multi plug for engine electrics are those connections OK, can you get 12v there for the starter solenoid, also check in the auxiliary fuse box fuses for burnt/bad connections, iirc only MK2 diesels have electric fuel pump.

Also assuming its not automatic so you wont have starter inhibitor switch.

thanks where is aux fuse box ? and there is a pump in the tank ? will check rest when it stops raining . cheers
