big_kev Posted May 4, 2010 Report Posted May 4, 2010 Possibly on a high performance engine.....not really on an old low powered Tdi. If you are looking for Performance then get a V6 petrol. Doubt it would make any difference to MPG. Also not sure about the legal aspect of this. Quote

big_kev Posted May 4, 2010 Report Posted May 4, 2010 The Nissan is half the weight and has a petrol engine so it will accelerate very quickly.However it is a crap car. There are 2 TDI's at that age the 90PS which i have and the 110PS which has a bit more poke.Don't know which one you have ? Your mileage does seem low....however it could still be correct if you are in a lot of traffic.Would expect at least mid to low thirties though. It may be best for you to run diagnostics to see if any faults exist.VagCom is available quite cheaply.......do a search on the net for this or look at the FAQ in the technical section on this site. a11mcr Posted May 4, 2010 Author Report Posted May 4, 2010 sorry no pics (dont want to scare the s**t out of you all LOL).mine is also the 90ps version.when i put my foot down it takes ages to get upto 70 and stops at 90 (wont go no more) and it hates going up hill, it has had a brand new maf fitted and the egr has been blanked off. i just expected better from it (suppose im comparing it to my mondeo tdci 130).i have been looking at changing the injector nozzles to some .216 would anyone reccomend this or will it go BANG?
