S Reg Galaxy 1.9tdi Glx

Hi, Please please can anyone me, I have purchased a Galaxy 1.9 TDi glx S reg 1998 and now it wont start and when i try plumes of white smoke come out the back, I have had it started and running but very lumpy and smoky with no power and now it wont start at all..

I've had the timing done, a new diesel pump done and still nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions as I really cant afford to keep spending money on it. Thanks.

It sound very much like timing is out, you say you just bought it? was it like that when you first drove it?

May be quicker to get codes read can make diagnosis easier

Hi, the garage said they have adjusted the timing and they did the cam belt too as they where sure they had fixed it, so
