Andy galaxy Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 just bought a galaxy heater blower switch only works on 3&4 is this mostlikely to be resistor.also air con does not work at all carnt even hear any fan noise or pump runing is this case of recharge neededor are they linked many thanks ;) Quote
big_kev Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 It is most likely to be the resistor.....easily available from scrappy or ebay.Fix this first before aircon. Aircon fault could be a number of things from simple top up to complete system replacement. Most places will do a free vacuum test first to identify if there are any leaks. Quote

mobile armchair Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 just bought a galaxy heater blower switch only works on 3&4 is this mostlikely to be resistor. It is most likely. I had same problem 6 months ago. Part was 24.95 + VAT, and has worked fine ever since. also air con does not work at all carnt even hear any fan noise or pump runing is this case of recharge needed I've given up on the air con. Regassed, it worked for a month or so, so must be slow leak somewhere. My garage put leak trace dye in, but no joy. It's had new pipes too ... so think hard before spending any money on it. It was never very good when it worked properly, system too weedy for cabin size (just like the heater) or are they linked Not in my case! I was hoping so ... many thanks  Quote
