If its mk 2 its fuse 15 the other filiment is your tail light hence stop and tail bulb LB380 and you should have a smaller single filiment for tail lghts LB207 aswell Edited April 7, 2010 by chrispb123456 Quote

dog-god Posted April 7, 2010 Author Report Posted April 7, 2010 thanks for the fast replyfuse 15 has what looks like frost ,disel pump and wheel with i assume brakes at either side symbols, anyway fuse looks fine ,its marked as a 10 so i exchanged it with another 10 and still no luck, the coil light doesn't come on straight away ,normally 5 or 6 seconds, possibly the time taken to do the diagnostic check any other ideas Quote

big_kev Posted April 7, 2010 Report Posted April 7, 2010 when the handbrake is on the brake lights dont come on either ,should they NO ! The brake lights come on only with the footbrake. Have you checked the cables where they pass through the rubber gaiter into the tailgate. There will almost certainly be some broken cables in there. Quote
