adambaker Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 hi ya people my car has now decided it doesnt wanna start its a 2.0l ford galaxy on a "N" plate when i put the key in and try and start it it makes a whizzing noise (starter motor i think) and then nothing. ive tried to jump start which didnt work and checked under passengers seat no swimming pool lol and led in drivers door staying on until i try to turn it over . bump starting works but pushing a galaxy up hilll is not the way to go i think any advise would be greatly appreciated yours adam baker Quote

I think your right to get a new/recon starter. Tapping starter is never a permanent fix if it works at all. Edited March 31, 2010 by chrispb123456 Quote
