new nige Posted March 26, 2010 Report Posted March 26, 2010 Got the usual turbo limp mode problem and having read fault codes am prity sure its Vacum Hoses or N75. I have sucessfully changed 2 of the 5 hoses but am a little unsure about which others to change, has anyone got a better diagram (i have Haynes) of which hoses are of interest? cheers Quote
zorgman Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 all of them, may be even the ecu internal hose feeding the map sensor as that goes all sticky and gooey, what hp us it as cant comment about turbos etc Quote
new nige Posted March 27, 2010 Author Report Posted March 27, 2010 all of them, may be even the ecu internal hose feeding the map sensor as that goes all sticky and gooey, what hp us it as cant comment about turbos etc Hi zorgman its 90bhp, 1998 as far as i can see there are 2 hoses that go toward the turbo that i have not mannaged to change yet, these look very suspect so am hopping its these. There is no chance of accessing these fully from above (i can feel them though) do you know if these are easily accessable when its up on ramps? Would the ecu hose cause turbo loss of power, my current thinking is hoses (excluding ecu), then N75 as i have fault code suggesting this (00575 intake manifold pressure). cheers Quote
zorgman Posted March 28, 2010 Report Posted March 28, 2010 90hp dont suffer the turbo fault as he 110 id go for them pipes not worked on the 90 u should be able to get at them from underneath. should only be one hose tho going to actuator on turbo unit does the other one not go into car to the ecu Quote
skemp Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 Hi, I have had a diagnostics telling me I have a MAP sensor fault, and someone telling me the MAP sensor is on the inlet manifold. The Haynes manual doesn't mention it? The ECU has been sent off and returned with no fault showing. My Galaxy is a 1.9TD Zetec 1999 110BHP, am I correct in thinking this is engine code AFN? ThanksSkemp. Quote
