sumbler Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 HELP ... I have a 2001 Ford Galaxy 2.8 Ghia Auto, the cruise control is not working. I have had the control stalk on the steering column replaced and also the switch under the foot pedal. I was advised that the system operates on a vacuum pump which is located behind the NSF headlight. This is NOT the case as according to Ford my car was "on the change" and uses an electronic system. I am advised by Ford that I may need a new EMS or a chip replaced at an extorsionate cost. ANY IDEAS PLEASE?. Thanks Quote
