dipsomaniac Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 i am totally baffled as to how water is sitting in the bottom of the auto gear stick housing, especially as it is in the centre of car and is above the height of the passenger footwell.. scuttle drains appear to be clear and there is no obvious signs of water coming in. matrix is bypassed and i have poked 3m of curtain wire down the sun roof drain channels. anyone got any other ideas? marktripp Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 I have exactly the same issue with water in the passenger side footwell. It seems to make its way in through the roof channels under the rubbers as the top of the carpet is dry (under glove box). I put it down to having a roof bar system fitted though?? Quote

davecardiff Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 Hi I had the same problem couldn't understand why it was leaking eventually started pouring out hot water onto my foot. In my case it was the heater matrix in the dashboard leaking, appears to be quite common. It is not a simple job to replace, around Quote
