Power Loss

Goodmorning,

 

I have a 2002 Ghia 1.9tdi Auto 115

 

I've been having the dreaded power loss issue and have read a lot of threads around this subject. I'm not getting efficient MPG either, I'm getting around 30mpg instead of 40-45 and I'm having to travel on the inside lane with lorries. When I start the car I have good power and use of turbo but this dissipates quickly and the struggle begins. I've only had the car for 3 weeks and I've had the issue since then.

 

I've ordered a new MAF, however is there anything else associated with this which I should look at replacing? Any filters etc and is it worth getting an oil change or anything?

 

As a separate issue my cruise control does not work, I switch it to on and nothing happens....any common faults I can eliminate?

 

Any words or wisdom appreciated.

cruise control pull clutch pedal up with foot when u try it mine was out of aliginment simple fix
