Ford Multi Changer E2 Error?

i put some discs into my multi changer and they worked till i put cd number 5 on and i got a e2 error , now i cant play any , ive tried taking thecartrige out and putting it back in , i cant get anything now?

does anyone know what it means

E2 (E20) is laser read error - the disk is in but it can't lock onto it - normally a good clean of the lense sorts it out.

ok thanks , it did work till i skipped to the next disc , but as ive only just bought this car the last owner might have never used it who knows??
