Just Had My Timing Belt Done Thank God

i bought the 115 tdi vw sharan 4 weeks or more ago with full history but the belt hadnt been stamped in the book so i rand hull vw up and she said yes it had been done about 80k i said can you send me a proof please so she said yes no probs , its now done 127k , she didnt sent the proof so i rang again and she said it hadnt had a timing belt just a alt belt , me and my vw mate did it yesterday and it was litterally ready to break i was so lucky <_<

the clips on the engine we took off were at the back , my vw mate said looks like its never had one in 127k , alls sweet now for the cornwall run , (apart from the a/c , but arnt they all)
