seatkid Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 1. We are now past the point of no return. By the middle of next year we will be in a full blown Depression, even worse than the 1930's according to Ed Balls. Watch out for short politicians sporting little moustaches, offering a quick fix at the next general election...... 2. We are in a global cooling phase. The number of sunspots has dropped to an over 100 year low during the last year, indicating the sun has entered an inactive phase. It does this every 180 years or so - blame Jupiter, Neptune and Saturn and geomagnetic and gravitational effects thereof. So? Well, historically, every time this happens we experience a rapid onset of a mini ice age. Expect a Dalton minimum, and possibly a Maunder minimum within 4 - 5 years. If you thought this winter is cold, you aint seen nothing yet. :D 3. To cheer you up though, repairs to the Large Hadron Collider are taking longer than originally planned. So instant planetary annialation has been delayed until at least 2010. :D Quote
mumof4 Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 Ah seatkid, you do bring the joy of spring to the forum ^_^ Quote
big_kev Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 Where did it all go wrong.... The Good Old Days We were once the rulers of the largest empire the world has ever seen. Nanby Panby bloody dogooders.....that's what caused it. :D I think we should rebuild the empire again......ok a few hundred million people will die ( mostly foriegners, so they don't really matter ! ). ^_^ However eventually we ( The British and our Commonwealth allies, of all creeds & colours ) will be happy again. :D OOOPs! Did I say that out loud :o Quote
