I've always found that Tesco / Direct line (same company i.e. UK insurance) the cheapest and pretty good at handling claims. Online quotes from Tesco /Direct Line are 10%+ cheaper than other means e.g. phone. Check Direct Line vs Tesco, sometimes one is cheaper than the other. Also.....check out current Tesco promotion they often do

im now with privilege insurance they beat 'more then' by over 150 quid.

Without knowing engine/trim/location/garaging etc etc its very hard to compare, but the very least you can do is key in reqs. to Confused/Moneysupermarket - will give you a target price if nothing else!

If you find a lower quote (which you probably will) give more than a call back with that quote maybe they will do something to lower the previous one, it's worth a try. When i had my gal they did.

I switched from MoreThan to Privilege last year becase they were the cheapest around. Now due for renewal again and Privilege are one of the more expensive. LV seem to be the cheapest for me at the moment with comparable cover to the Privilege quote.
