apparently its the same gearbox as the 2.3 v5 sharan and that is all that will fit the gearbox code is dtr if that helps

just picked it up today and it makes a slight rattling noise on tickover , and it grinds into 1st gear , i think it might be clutch related ????? , what do you think its worth selling it as it is , here is an ad i put on another forum

 

 

i have a vw sharan 1.8 turbo on a w reg , rare car ive never seen another one of thease , 157000k , climate control , electric windows X 4 , pas , elec heated mirrors , 6 seats , has a slight clutch problem , just makes a noise when taking first gear up , drives spot on though , test is till april 18th , no tax , im after around
