Speaker Wire Colours Pos/neg

hi ive bought some pioneer speakers for my alhambra and i need to chop the existing speaker wires form the old speakers there is a red and a brown and red wire, i need to know what is positive and what is negative before i start the job , thanks , they should be all the same galaxy / alhambra and sharan

mine is a 1997 alhambra

Red = positive

Red/brown = negative

 

(You might find some of the other speakers have blue positive and blue/brown negative)

thanks , i was just going on the passenger rear door for the colours as this is the only panel ive took off upto now , do you know what size rear speakers the galaxy has , i mean the rear rear seat 6 and 7 speakers and how easy is it to change them does the rear panels have to come off????
