As you know, i fly RC aeroplanes, today i took my A test which means i no longer have to have someone stand with me when i fly, bit like passing your driving test.LOL.

So now, i am no longer a trainee, i am now a fully fledged flyer. <_<

thanks peeps, pm sent to you jk.

yup, i am enjoying it, it is so very relaxing, meet new people and the events and shows are amazeing, rc is no longer itty bitty planes, some go at more than 250 mph,

Bleeno, some of the planes that are flown have missiles and bombs attached to them.LOL.

ok, my initial set up, a second hand elation buddy with engine cost me 90 quid, transmitter which is a futaba 2.4 gig, cost me 120 quid ( since come down in price)

since then, the engine has been replaced with an Os55max which means my plane has unlimited vertical and flys like the wind.

Its an ace sport, and one your kids can get into aswell, insurance through the bmfa for 10 million squid, costs around 15 quid i think a year.

any qs, just please ask.

I bought my plane over a year ago, and a lot changes in a year. If i crashed her now, i could not afford to replace her.The raven is made from EPP, a practically indestructable foam.

thanks hun, its an ongoing learning curve about teensy glow plugs, charging up, starting, checking everything moves the right way, all good fun, then seeing her launch into the sky after taxying off, ace feeling, landing is always a butt clencher specially in a weeeee bit of wind. a 90 degree crosswind can make the landing a bit more exciting LOL.
