rodders Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 quick one.. is it true that if you drive a tdi hard over a distance (motorway) then road driving straight after the dmf can slip due to heat & friction... Quote
Bigjeeze Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 (edited) Dunno I drive an average 150 miles motorway every day then go "urban" for around 10 miles but I haven't noticed any slippage as yet - Edited September 6, 2008 by Bigjeeze Quote
stevie m Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 I use to drive my gal about 1000 miles aweek when i owned it a mix of motorway and urban. The dmf never use to slip allthough after 3 years of this mileage the dmf needed to be replaced (170000 miles tho). I bought a brand new one for Quote
