Yep was holding my fingers crossed as had no reason to post as everything had been fine up until yesterday when the alternator decided to not like the pulley anymore.

All fixed now so will try and cross a few more things.

Only got around to posting myself! Just have to say this is the best forum. Have a mkII and a toyota celica and can say toyota forums are good but more things tend to wrong with Fords so have found this very useful.

Keep up the good advice everyone!
