gregers Posted May 24, 2008 Report Posted May 24, 2008 just had my renewel through for another year from more then they want the princely sum of 551.00 for the year,which has gone up from approx 34 quid a month to 48 quid,mmmm me thinks its time i hunted done a few cheaper quotes(hopefully),anyone recommend anyone to try for a quote?. Tell them you are thinking about leaving as you can find a better quote.They should put you through to their retention dept. Then they may reduce your quote further :lol: . This is why they wont give you your price match... When you phone them you are taking up a persons time and to them time is money. So you get the discount because it is processed yourself online. When getting a quote its worth checking who underwrites them, and then do a bit of research to see if they have any poor history on paying out. Belive it or not anyone can set up an internet based insurance company, the many companies offering cheaper insurance are just cutting their profits slightly on the same policies that are bought through them from the larger companies, hence the different prices, so its still worth shopping about !
