dipsomaniac Posted April 10, 2008 Report Posted April 10, 2008 can anyone tell me which side wiper part no. F1124510 is? i thought it was the passenger side but the garage has fitted it to the drivers side and put the old drivers side wiper on the passenger side - they said they had to cut one of the wipers. don't know why they did this but it doesn't look right. can someone also please confirm the length of each wiper? owlsman Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 Ive just bought these wipers off eBay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...A:IT&ih=021 I tried to fit them yesterday and they wont fit my MKII Galaxy, doing a bit of reasearch i have found out i need some sort of adapter for them to fit. Anyone have any idea where i could get some from? Any help would be great. Kind regards, owlsman. Quote
Jez Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 I thought the Bosch were the OEM wipers, what adaptor do you need the one's on my Galaxy basically just have a 'hole' in them for the pin off the wiper arm to fit in. Perhaps your wipers were changed to a different type, so the OEM ones no longer fit? Jez Quote

JezI'll post some pics later, I think I need the retrofit quick clip? http://www.boschautoparts.co.uk/pcWipe6.asp?c=2&d=1 They wont fit to the arm its a totally different fitting. If all fails, I'll have to go for the curved type, which i believe are the OEM version. Thanks for your reply  Quote
Sheepdog Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 Halford have booklets for the models hanging in their wiper section, could always go in and have a look. If to expensive at least you know what the option types are. Wilkinsons, (wilco) and Boyes, do a cheap universal wiper set, that you can get refills for, cut refills to size. Quote
