jamesey Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 hi ive just bought a iso lead for my seat alhambra and taken the ford 2007 out of the car to upgrade and put my kenwood in noe the lead ive bought is a pc9 403 and its got all the correct plugs but i can only have either front speakers or the rears on because the iso lead has 2 rca outputs and my kenwood only has 1 set what is the best thing to do , is it just a case of buying a new headunit with 2 sets of rca;s????? NikpV Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 I assume that you mean mk1/mk2 ICE forum not the Mk3 ICE forum so I will move this post ........ Quote
mk2vr6 Posted March 25, 2008 Report Posted March 25, 2008 the head unit will still have a set of standard speaker outputs, with the correct iso lead you will be able to use the standard speakers hence the use of a PC2-70-4 lead or as you were told when you asked last time as you have the ford factory fitted amp? http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/index.php?showtopic=15555 a pc3-300 lead should do the job Quote
steve67car Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 to be honest you need to by pass the amp which is under the radio din hole its the silver thing you can see if you look down at a 45 degree angle through the hole as the std amp out put is 4x15 and your head unit its 4x 45 min so if you unplug the wiring out of the amp and use the correct lead you will use the speaker out puts not the rca there fore it will not matter how many pre outs you have  Quote
