Hi guys, thought I'd introducemyself first, my name is Paul and I have just purchased today my first Galaxy, which is the 2.3 Ghia X model on a 1999 V plate, and can't wait to pick it up Tuesday :lol:

Thanks gregers, yes it is from a dealer and I managed to take it out for a good old run today and all seemed absolutely fine, am picking it up Tuesday after they have given it a full valet as they only had it in on Thursday, no warranty I'm afraid as it was a trade clearance but not to worry I'll have to take the risk :lol:

Welcome to the forum. I have just parted company with my gal (mk2). You may be able to find a warranty on the net. Check the small print so that you get the one thats right for you. Hope you get many trouble free miles out of your new motor.

actually, by law, when you buy a car from a dealer, garage, they have to give you 1 months warrenty at least with it, thats what i have found out so far in my search for another car.

 

not sure about trade clearence though..hmmmm
