I have spent so much hard earned cash on on it recently to make sure it was perfect. I only hope that the next person that has it enjoys it as much as i did. Quote

So i have my pipe and slippers on order. My kids don't like the colour tho it's gold. Well i only have them at weekends and if they want to catch the bus then they can.. :lol: Quote

I have some gal parts i might sell on here next week Undertray, Beige rear door handles and front mats from vw dealer in beige and also rear window strips that i never got round to fitting they are all brand new bits bought from dealers and still in their bags. It is a d5 2.4 163bhp. Here is my one and only picture of it but i will post more when i get the motor next week. mk2vr6 Posted March 23, 2008 Report Posted March 23, 2008 I never though it possible for Volvo to make uglier car than the 340 but they proved me wrong and came out with the S60! then really went to town and topped themselves by painting it gold! luckily for you or unluckily? you'll be sitting in it looking out, it's every other poor sod that has to suffer looking at it ;) oh and your kids have taste ;) they must have got that from their mum? :D Quote

stevie m Posted March 28, 2008 Author Report Posted March 28, 2008 Last day today (5.30pm) of being a galaxy owner. I'm sure i will miss this motor i have loved it. It has by far been the most comfortable car to drive, the best driving position and has been mostly reliable (apart from the most common things going). My kids will hate me after today because they do not realise that they are going to be cramped up in the back off the next one and will have no rest bite from each other as it does not have seven seats (although if they want to travel in the boot they are welcome :angry: ). So i'm cleaning the gal inside and out one last time (for old times sake) and trading it in. Quote
searcher Posted March 28, 2008 Report Posted March 28, 2008 I remember when i sold my Gal last year and bought a Shogun 3.2 DID.It was a fab car for towing but toooooo gutsy for every day use and sounded more like a tractor.Within four months i was back in the seat of my current Alhambra which i love and dont miss the Shogun one bit.Youll be fine with the Volvo.  By the way have you ordred the labrador for the back seat yet :angry: Quote
