Booster Heater Thingy

Hi, peeps, don't all shout at me at once i know there are 1 or 2 threads already out there about these things !,

I'm after a short simple answer really as i'm assuming my aux heater bursts into life in the cold weather as there's always a large cloud when me galaxy fires into life first thing on a nippy morn.

I am unwise in these things and would like to know simple what it should be doing becuase i don't seem to be able to notice any effect other than the smoke screen !

You have answered your own question, but sounds like you need a new glow plug,

so now read the posts and you should be fine
