Mostin Posted December 30, 2007 Author Report Posted December 30, 2007 thanks all !!!! been getting used to the search & i good majority have been asked & pointers given .... very helpful.... i did some routine work yesterday , oil etc , dropped the sump just in case ... good job i did , one of the retaining bolts for the bottom plate was just lying in the sump !!! & some bright spark had made a hole in the strainer , i am thinking low oil pressure at some stage ... , she seems fine now. i also have a confestion , inner CV boot had split , after searching on a few topics , i got i idea of how to remove .... Driveshaft of ok , took a few mins to work out how to drop off the knuckle ... that cir clip was a bit fiddly ... got there eventually ... spent the next 30 to 40 mins trying to open the clip so i could reassemble ... then worked out i could just line up & push on !!!!! lol boy did i feel a plonker ... DOH !!!! anyways thanks for the welcome ... cheers Quote
