mumof4 Posted October 22, 2007 Author Report Posted October 22, 2007 I do agree with you mk2vr6, no side should show what is being shown.No man should revel in the killing of another.The one i have put a link to here, is nothing compared to some that have been put up.There are more graphic ones from both sides.Neilther side should be allowed to do this, but who will enforce it?thousands of videos are uploaded each and every day, it takes someone to flag something and report it many times before anything is done.Once the powers that be realise ( which they probably already do), then these sort of things will be removed.It is so very wrong to post up for the world to see the killing of another no matter whose side is doing it. You should note that it has been on the site for a year along with loads of others and nothing has been done about them. However we should also look at the reporting from the media on this and their deliberately politically incorrect grammer which fuels sympathy and misunderstanding of the reality of the situation. They refer to these people as "insurgents" an insurgent is one who rebels peacefully against an established authority. You see stuff like this all the time...people being "executed"....execution is a lawful killing performed by the relevant authorities. What these people do is plain old fashioned murder. They should report it as it is.....these people are terrorists and mass murderers....spreading fear and hatred under the name of religious fanatisicm. Parasitic scum of the earth who exist purely to spread extreme suffering to those around them.....the world would be a better place without them in it. Just my opinion....although I think most others would agree in their minds if not in their voices. Quote

I agree that no video should be posted, be they from 'allied' forces or so called 'extemists, freedom-fighters, jihadists or insurgents' or whatever the western media want to label them next. I agree wholeheartdly with mk2vr6 that when was the last time someone 'flagged-up' a video showing the west doing the same, maybe they have, maybe they haven't but i certainly haven't seen any evidence so far. And believe me, there are videos out there that will make your stomach churn and be totally disgusted. Anyway, just my opnion and please i do not want to involved in a heated debate on who is right and who is wrong. Quote

mumof4 Posted October 23, 2007 Author Report Posted October 23, 2007 Unfortunately Saif, even if videos like this are flagged, it takes a long time for them to be removed.On you tube certain vids can be shown to only over 18s, on google, they are accessable to all, ( i havent come across any that are only for over 18s yet) even children.its the children i wish to protect from images like this as it is the children of today who will be influenced by vids like this. I know that vids are posted from all sides, but you will find that usually it is the Americans that will post the vids, not always the british.But no matter what nationality that posts it, it is so very wrong and i do flag vids from either side.So yes Saif, i do flag. I am sure that the other side more than likely feel the same way as we do when viewing vids like this, my problem is that i can everyones side in this and for me it is hard to find a middle ground for me to stand on.I understand everyones point of view and normally i dont get involved in issues like this. But in todays world where anything and everything can be seen worldwide on the internet, when there is enough images or war and death on our tellys and in the papers, i believe that vids like this no matter who from should not be on the net.There isnt enough censorship going on , yes i know free speech and all that, but this isnt speech, this is images of people being blown up, of being injured, killed and maimed. If enough people can flag a video they see, then maybe in time the people that own/run/ these sites will enforce in some way a restriction that stops images like this from being uploaded. Anyway, just some of my opinion and i aint had a cuppa yet. Quote
