Does anyone know if it is possible to change the time/date manually on one of the latest 6000CD double din units as fitted to new Focus, C-Max etc.? Have searched the audio book and menu function but to no avail. Presumably if it is not possible to do it manually it must rely on RDS? Andy.

Andy .... I had the same thing with the 1 3/4 DIN 6000CD in my Mk III Mondeo. IIRC, I had to select the RDS function by stepping through each menu and once RDS was displayed it automatically updated the time via the RDS signal.

Hope this helps

MANUAL clock setting

Press and hold the "MENU" button for approximately two seconds until the display changes.

Press the "MENU" button repeatedly until one of the following displays appears.

CLK-AUTO

RDS TIME ON

Press the "SEEK" buttons to select either "CLK-MAN" or "RDS TIME OFF".

Press the "MENU" button again so that "CLK-SET" or "SET 00:00" appears in the display.

Press the "SEEK" buttons to select "hrs/minutes" or "days/months/years".

Use the volume control to make adjustments.

Press the MENU button to set.

Bleeno and Madbaz thanks for the replies and info. It seems as though some menu items are accessed by pressing the menu button for a short time and some are accessed by pressing it for a longer time. Once I'd sussed this I was able to find the clock and date setting point and put them both right. Thanks again, :D :D Andy.
