Mids Meet 4th November

IMPORTANT: CHANGE OF INITIAL MEETING PLACE!

 

All, I have today been to check out The Harbour Inn and to put it politely, it is crap! The description is WAY off the mark on the link I put up! There were 3 people inside when I investigated and there wasn't much more room for any others!! It also took me over an hour to find the place as it was at the end of an unadopted single track road about 4 miles away from the Safari Park.

 

So ..... I feel I must change the initial meeting place. The best place I could find was a small shopping park called Weavers Wharf in the centre of Kidderminster. It is about a 5 minute drive from the Safari Park and has a McDonalds, Pizza Hut and Frankie & Benny's so places to eat for those wanting to and plenty of parking spaces.

The pump house has a large chimney that can be seen from the main A451 Ringway Road that I would imagine most will use to get to the Park.

 

Apologies for this late change in itinerary, but The Harbour Inn just isn't worthy of our patronage :ph34r:

Frankie & Benny's has been booked for 12:30 for 18 people (to be on the safe side). They will be laying out 1 big table for us so should be fun!!

 

Frankie & Benny's Website has details of menus etc so you can start buliding up your apetite now!

 

If anyone that has already confirmed attendance, can't make it for any reason, can they let me know so I can amend numbers with F&B's

Nice to meet everyone today .... a good time was had by my lot. Meal was good, rides were ace and fireworks were amazing. And yes Kayleigh was fast asleep in the car within minutes of setting off! Hope everyone got home ok (and I promise I wont mention Marian getting lost coming out of the car park at Frankie & Benny's on the way to the safari park, even though we were in a convoy of 4 Galaxies ..... :lol: :lol: :blink: :lol: )

Gotta say..the dodgems were brilliant..havent laughed so much in a looooooooooong time..sides ached i was laughing that much!..Chris's lad and Pauls lad were all out to get me..yeah right!!..i ran circles round them!.lmao..was really good fun.,
