  1. Sounds like classic symptom of a worn clutch exept the milage is too low!! Just had mine done for the first time at 130K miles. Ford dealers wanted over
  2. I recently had a new clutch fitted by a local garage and ever since have had a problem changing gears. Second gear is by far the worst, almost impossible to engage, while the others are very 'clunky'. The thing that confuses me is that the problem only exists for the first 10-15 minutes of a journey then gradually disappears. Also, when I first got the car back (but doesn't appear to be doing it now), at the start of a journey, if I was in gear with the clutch pedal hard down, the car would creep forward as if the clutch wasn't disengaging the drive cleanly. The car has been back to the garage twice but they cannot find a fault and have assured me there is no problem with the work they carried out on the clutch. They have made "adjustments" and even changed the clutch master cylinder, neither of which fixed the problem. The problem never existed before the clutch was changed and i know I should keep taking it back until they fix it, but I have lost faith in the garage now and don't really want them messing with it any more. Any ideas what the problem may be or advice in general will be greatly appreciated.
