Guys i am in the situation of do i replace my engine in my well loved gal..axy or scrap it. I am in the Basingstoke area, and if anyone knows of someone to do the work, or let me have a go with them i would be more than greatfull and pay em! Obviously space and tools would be needed for the works. It is in the ford garage at the mo - Gowerings and to quote the guy on the phone "oh it'll be thousands for a new engine and at least 1700 for labour!" im thinking I like the prices above a lot more! Help please! - if not does anyone want it for spares (minus engine)?! its got a new spare with sticker still on - although lower tyre rating i think. They are going to charge for storage i think so speed is of the essence, Tony Parker :P

Hi guys, that galaxy still for sale? my engine cut out yest and it sounds terminal, like no compression in the engine. Its in my local Fraud Dealership getting a dignostic but i'm not expecting good news :)! (how much should i expect to pay for diagnostic?!) IT has now done 161k, (32k since i got it last easter), needed a new aircon pump two weeks after i got it (done myself with amazing advice from this site :huh:!) serviced it and tyres but other than that amazingly reliable! sorry reminicing! guys im carless.....galaxyless......any help greatfully recieved!
